Was Nursing Baby. Have Light Discharge, With Backache. Reason Fcr Discharge?

Hi I stopped breastfeeding a month ago now. Im not on birth control as we want another baby, 2 days ago I had a little bit of brownish slightly pink mucus like discharge. I thought my periods had returned but that was it and today I have a little bit of white discharge. I do have a lower backache , and am quite bloated and gassy also. What could this have been?

hi,
after delivery the returning of periods will depend on the breast feeding, if you are giving complete breast feeding there is less chance for early returning of menstruation, if not it may return.
after delivery some women may have spotting up to 1 month also, so if your symptoms subside no need to worry,
but if your pain becomes severe better to consult doctor once to get general examination to rule out puerperal infection.
take care.
