Vomiting, Taken Pantoprazole 40mg

my son is 12 and in the past 6 weeks he has woke up in the morning and vomited now this has happened about 7 time ive taken him to see the doctor and the doctor put him on pantoprazole 40mg but i think it made it worse so i took him off should i be concerned when we see the specialist?

i feel pentoperazol 20 mg is sufficient if the weight of the child is less than 40 kg.
you should look fr eating habit of child, do not give heavy food just before going to bed..
