Vision Changed From 2.5 To 1.5, On Androgel For Several Months. Diabetes?

Just had a vision check and my perscription has changed from 2.5 to 1.5 in about 6 months. It s been about 2.5 for a number of years. A couple facts: I m 54, just had major shoulder surgery on July 3rd and have been taking AndroGel for several months - now at 569.20 up from 183 in 7 months. I m wondering what might be happening. PS My optometrist thinks it might be diabetes!! Thank you, Paul
