Virgin, Have Swollen, Painful Vagina, Burning On Wiping. Serious?

I have been having a pain in my vagina and I checked it out but its swollen n red on one of the lips close to the middle skin in between the legs. It hurts really bad to the point where I can t wipe because it ll burn . I have not had sex at all so I m pretty sure uts not an std or anything...but wondering if you could help me out if it isn t too serious

Hi,
The symptoms you are telling resembles vaginitis. Again same can occur in case of trauma.
Vaginitis can occur either because of bacteria/ virus/yeast infection.
But in that case you will get vaginal discharge also along with abdominal pain.
Treatment will vary based on etiology- either antibiotics/anti-fungal medications.
As the area is red, swollen; it requires local examination for correct diagnosis. So consult gynecologist.
