Very Light Discharge During Periods. Stress Related?

Hello.
I am 16 years old and am about 2 days late. On March 15, I may have had sperm on my hand and then wiped my vagina (but not inside, just the outside) but then again I don't remember if I washed it off and then wiped my vagina (my mind is playing tricks with me. Ever since then, I've been stressed like CRAZY. I hardly ate anything, I was constantly thinking about it and I was crying everyday and couldn't think about anything else. On March 19, I got my "period". It was about 5 days, but VERY very light and brown. However, sometimes when I wiped it was a lot of bright red. I read online this "spotty" period can be due to extreme stress and worrying, which I had. I was expecting my period around March 23, so I got it about 3-4 days early. Ever since then, I've taken 8 pregnancy tests which detect 20ml of the HCG and all were negative. I took them in the morning, including one of my expected period (April 12), and on Saturday and Sunday morning too (today). All were negative...could this "period" have been so light a brown due to excessive stress and hardly eating?

Hello and welcome to HCM,

Pregnancy can be confirmed or ruled out by pregnancy test.
Amenorrhea (absence of menstrual cycles) is the first sigh of pregnancy.
The menstrual flow can be scanty in various conditions like stress, nutritional deficiencies, anemia, etc.
Irregular periods can also occur due to stress, hormonal imbalance, etc.
However, do not worry.
Take care of your diet.
Mild variation in the onset and frequency of menstruation is normal.
Get your hemoglobin checked. If it is low, take iron rich foods and/ or iron supplements if required.

Thanks and take care
