Veiny Soft Palate, Uvula, Back Of Throat. History Of Having Bronchitis, Burning In Tongue With Fungus. On Oral Drops. Help

Hi there I had bronchitis about 2 months ago and during that time my mouth a d tougne felt like they were burnt, especially my tougne, I did two courses of Amoxy and started using my asthma puffer again. The doctor said I have some kind of fungus on my tougne and have me treatment for oral candidia which was a first me! I'm currently taking the oral drops now! My soft palate and uvula and veiny and so is the back of my throat, I had my tonsils removed about 5 years ago! Why does my mouth throat and tougne look so bad ? Please help

Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

Burning tongue as well as Inflammed soft palate and uvula can occur due to oral sub mucous fibrosis lesions.

Corticosteroids has to be administered orally in such cases.

Maintain oral hygiene well.

Avoid spicy,allergic foods.

Smoking and tobacco chewing has to be avoided.


Floss your tongue daily.
