Varicose Veins Bulging On The Leg. No Injury. Need Immediate Medical Attention?

Hello,
I exercised today wearing compression hose. I have mild varicose veins and it looks and feels like new one is about to pop out. On this same leg I found a black and blue mark at the base of my big toe after exercising today. There was no trauma to this area. Should I be concerned and should I seek medical attention?

hi i am dr usman
varicose veins can cause a lot of trouble ranging from mild pain to sometimes leg swelling and bluish discloration of the affected area due to venous congestion. however the black and blue mark on your big toe doesnt appear to be due to varicosities. it may be due to tight shoes. please observe. hopefully your mark will go away ina weeks time. if it increases in size get a medical expert opinion thanks
