I am experiencing an intensive feminine itching. A yeast infection has been ruled out. I went to the doctor yesterday and she said it was vaginal dryness but I think it's something else. I have used Vagisil and a personal lubricant. They didn't really help that much. The itching is much more intense at night. I can't sleep!!! Will a Benadryl help? I'm going to see if I can see my GYN tomorrow. I'm in agony!!!!
Hi, You have not mentioned your age. If you are in menopausal age then there might be possibility of having atrophic vaginitis and dryness due to depletion of estrogen level. At present to get relief from itching you can take Benadryl or Cetrizine as and when required. Consult gynaec and get examined. Ok and take care.
