Uterine Bleeding, Pessary In For Holding Bladder Up. How Will Uterus Be Removed With Kidney Held Up ?

I am having a problem with uterine bleeding for which I am getting an ultrasound tomorrow. But if I have to have surgery I have a pessary in for holding my bladder up right now. In the event of removal of the uterus I will need to have a bladder tie up. Can you tell me how they do this and what materials they use and what they attach it to??

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
If the uterus needs to be removed, the bladder sling is attached to the abdominal wall internally with the help of a non absorbable suture material to avoid sagging of the bladder.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
