Your father is having urine infection. He is also passing ketones in his urine which points towards either diabetic ketoacidosis (very high sugar levels ) or prolonged fasting. Consult a urologist
and a nephrologist
who may order a few tests like urine for culture & sensitivity, ultrasonography of abdomen & KUB-Prostate and S.PSA (prostate specific antigen
)and prescribe antibiotics depending on urine culture & sensitivity results. He should also see the endocrinologist
to maintain the blood sugar levels within the target range.
