Hi my 2 year old son s urine has been smelling strong and awful for the last 2 days. He seems to be tired this morning and normally is quite vibrant in the morning. He doesnt have a fever or anything out of the ordinary besides the tiredness. He drinks water with his milk powder and diluted fruit juice so he hasn t had anything different than the norm. Not sure what to do Please Help. Thanks Rayhanna

Hi

Concentrated urine can be due to dehydration and it can also be smelly. Since you say he taking adequate liquids this is unlikely to be the cause. I would suggest you to

get the urine examined (biochemical parameters) as rare genetic disorders cause smelly and odd coloured urine.
