Urine Infection, Burning Sensation, Pain, Heaviness, Fever, Vomiting. How To Take Cital Syrup And In What Amount?
dr i think i m having urine infecton as i get burning sensation and after passing urine it pains and i feel that still i have to pass more urine. heavyness is there in lower abdomen.it pains also. i m having fever feeling cold and vomiting sensation. i m unable to control the urine. doctor has prescribed cital syrup and aceclofenac for body ache and fever.dr has told tests urine culture ,urine routine and cbc. all these symptoms have started yesterday night.

Hello,
Your symptoms suggest that you are are suffering from urinary tract infection ( UTI ) .
Treament of UTI is a proper course of antibiotics.
Your doctor has rightly suggested urine examination along with urine culture as that would tell about the correct antibiotic to be used.
In the mean time take CITAL syrup as advised
It is taken 2 tsf thrice a day mixed in half cup of water.
Take plenty of water and wait for the culture repert
After giving the urine sample,you may start a routine anti UTI antibiotic like CIPROFLOXACIN or OOFLOXACIN,since culture report would take 3 days to come.You may talk to your doctor regarding this.
Anti biotic can always be changed after the report,if found necessary.

Take plenty of fluids
Antibiotics may be needed depending on the culture report.

Beside this while waiting for your tests, you should be take large amount of water and cranberry juice which may help you to wash our bacteria and heal infections.
After culture results you will be prescribed proper antibiotics.
