Upper Lip Getting Darker After Waxing. Applying Moisturizer. Will My Skin Get Back To Normal?

I waxed my upper lip with sally Hansen wax strips & the area turned bright and red ... The next day it turned brown and is a lot darker than my skin tone .. It's been about a week & I moisturizer it every night I have school so I can't really moisturizer in school .. Will my lip get better ? Will it peel off ? Will my skin go back to normal ? .. Btw: my skin is dry and patchy so it's not dicloration

hi. Judging from the description you gave it seems that you have developed post inflammatory hyperpigmentation on your upper lip. Apply a moderately potent steroid like fluticasone twice daily for 2-3 weeks and taking oral Vitamin C would help in your case.
