Unprotected Sex,no Ejaculation In The Vagina, delayed Periods, causes And Early Pregnancy Signs

Hi, I have a pregnancy question.. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex (stupid, i know) and I made sure it didn t get inside me when he came, and after i still regretted it, but anyways. I got nervous when my period was late but i know that sex can delay that. And I m not on the pill . But Now it has been 2 weeks and 1 day and I still haven t gotten my period. It has happened before, So i m not sure if it is just because my period is jumpy, or if i could be pregnant . What are early symptoms and when could I be seeing these start? Could It be just because of my jumpy period?

First of all, intercourse itself does not cause a delay in your cycle. I can think of no way to explain this impression thinking about the physiology of your cycle.

Second, guys don't always have perfect control, so there needs to be the assumption that there MIGHT have been some pre-ejaculate that could have been present (that also has a decent concentration of sperm).

If you have a history of irregular cycles AND you were relatively careful, then in all likelihood you are not pregnant BUT you absolutely need to check a pregnancy test. The earliest that it might turn positive is about 2-3 weeks after conception.

With regard to early symptoms of pregnancy, these might include a small amount of vaginal spotting and/or cramping, breast tenderness, and nausea.

I hope this helps!

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
The easiest way to differentiate is to carry out a pregnancy test. If this is positive you are pregnant otherwise you should consult a Gynecologist for work up of your delayed or irregular periods. You should also discuss your doctor for a reliable birth control.
Early signs of pregnancy are very non specific & cannot be relied upon for diagnosing pregnancy. Some are Fatigue, frequent urination, breast tenderness, food aversions, sensitivity to smell, nausea & vomiting, are few examples. Timing of there start is also quite variable.
Take care.
