Unprotected Sex, Have Missed Periods, Getting Premenstrual Cramps. Pills To Avoid Pregnancy?

Hi doctor, Im an 18 year old from Chicago and five days ago my boyfriend and I had sex without protection. I began to have cramps before I had sex and cramps after. It has been over 28 days and my period still hasn t started even though I have having some premenstrual cramps. Im hoping that Im not pregnant. Are there any pills, such as acetaminophen, to prevent pregnancy?

Hello
Thanks for the query.
Medical abortion is to be practised only after medical supervision and guidance.
Please consult a gynecologist at the earliest, confirm the pregnancy, exact dates of pregnancy, that it is inside the uterus and then get proper prescription and guidance.
Do not play around with your life, as there are life threatening complications of such casual intake, like severe bleeding, infection , incomplete abortion etc.
Once the proper dose is taken, then follow up visit is also a must to confirm completion.
Take care.
Acetaminophen does NOT prevent pregnancy.
