Hi, welcome to HCM I am Dr Das
For your information, gay sex has the highest rate of HIV transmission . So, you have a very high chance of HIV infection, provided that the person with whom you had sex is positive for HIV .
When did you ha've sex? If it is within 72 hrs immediately start post exposure prophylaxis .
After 15 days do a p24 protein assay which will definitely indicate if you have any infection or not.
