See you do not need to go to the gym to gain weight or muscle.You do simple but very effective exercises such as push ups , pull ups, dips, free squats etc, these are movements which help put on mass in a beginner. You do these workouts twice or thrice a week.
Next comes diet which is a very important aspect of gaining weight.Follow these tips :
1.Eat high protein diet ( chicken , fish , eggs etc)
2.Sleep for 6-8 hours a day
4.Take protein shakes
preferrably a whey protein
5.Eat your meals on time
6.Drink plenty of water
Its easy to gain weight all it takes is a little bit of hardwork and determination.Follow this regimen for a month or so and should see an increase in your bodyweight , provided you follow the regimen consistently.
