Undergone Cardiovascular Risk Assessment Due To Anxiety. Have Tachycardia. Meaning?

Hi i suffer from anxiety . i have undergone a cardiovascular risk assessment this week , my bp is normal, cholesterol normal and chest sounds fine but i had an ecg today showing some tachycardia the nurse showed the gp and he has asked to see me next week. is this normal or will i be put on medication and should i be worried.

Tachycardia can occur due to anxiety. If the ECG is normal, do not worry. Most probably the second appointment is for follow-up for your condition.
