Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
It is best to have a thorough evaluation for the cause of irregular cycles.
Firstly you have not mentioned your age.
There could be various common reasons for irregular cycles, the ones that can be easily modified are - anxiety, stress, personal or professional tensions, weight gain or weight loss that is massive and rapid, ingestion of hormonal medications or medications that affect the menstrual cycle, erratic eating habits, late nights, travelling, change in climate or altitude, smoking, drinking, drugs etc.
Other than that, hypothyroidism, PCOS ( polycystic ovarian syndrome ), endometrial hyperplasia - need to be excluded.
Have a thorough internal evaluation - per speculum and per vaginum.
Also, go for the hormonal tests - FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin, OGTT, DHEAS, Free testosterone, Lipid profile.
That will reveal a diagnosis.
Do not delay menstrual irregularity for too long, it can lead to difficulties in conception in future.
Tuberculosis itself can cause menstrual irregularities, as well as the AKT treatment that you are taking.
It is best to have an evaluation, if the pregnancy test is negative, you are not pregnant, other reasons have to be ruled out first.
Maintain an ideal weight and exercise regularly.
All the best.
Take care.
