Under TTC For Over A Year. SFA Done. What Does Reports Suggest?
me and my husband have been TTC for over a year now..
and my doc wanted him to do a SFA
the report results are
Appearance: Whitish gelatinous
Volume: 3.2 ml
Count: 104*10 to the power 6
Actively motile: 40%
Sluggishly motile:15%
non motile: 45%
abnormal forms: 12%
Pus cells : 10-12/field
Red cells : 12-15/field
pH: Alkaline
please let me know is this report normal.

As per WHO 2010 guideline, his semen analysis parameter is well enough except two things- pus cell and red cells (abnormally high).
I suggest him to undergo one routine urine examination and culture to rule out urinary or bladder infection. Please consult with your doctor after the test to take suggestive measures.
Repeat the semen analysis after 3 months for evaluation. Maintain genital hygiene. Good luck.
