Uncontrolled sugar levels and high cholesterol. Prescribed with Rosedey F10. Will this medication help?

Hi Doctor, I am a diabetic with a reading of 206 on fast and my Blood pressure was found to be normal at 120/70..However,my cholestol level being very high 281, LDL cholestrol at 180, HDL cholestrol at 24, non-HDL cholestrol 257 and Triglycerides ar 382 and the TC/HDL Ratio is at 11.6 . I have been prescribed to take i tablet of Rosedey F10..........I am a woman of 58years old...........i want to know whether this medicstion will help me overcome my cholestrol problem?

hello.. since your lipid profile is very abnormal you need to start medication but that's not all.. you also need to focus on exercise and diet.. go for brisk walks daily for 45 mins.. eat high fiber foods like fruits, nuts, salads, egg whites, sprouts.. avoid butter, pastries, bakery products, red meat, egg yolks... have lean meats like chicken and fish.. you can also take fish oil capsules daily to reduce cholesterol... opt for olive oil, rice bran oil or belnd oils.. take care..

Roseday F is a best option for you. Rosuvastatin is useful to reduce LDL and cholesterol and fenofibrate for reducing increased triglycerides.
As you are diabetic, your lipid profile should be in normal range other you are prone for major complication.
Your sugar must also be in control range.
