Unbearable Pain In Calf Muscles. Being Treated For Peripheral Neurophathy. Correct Diagnosis?

I have pain in my calfs, mainly in the backs. It is in between my knees and ankles, I have no pain in those joints. Nobody has been able to come up with a diagnosis. I am being treated for Peripheral Neuropathy . The pain is unbearable. I am 72, no circulation issues, and have some low back, buttocks , and hip pain on my left side only.
