Unable to sleep, works for night shift. Medication?

i'm in the Philippines I just want to ask what medicine you can recommend to my husband he is having a hard time to have sleep he is working here in the Philippines foe almost 7 years can you advised me a sleeping pill that he can take... his schedule is 9pm till 11am Philippine time. can you please help me out... reply back as soon as possible

Hi there, thanks for asking. Shift work problem can be managed with Melatonin. He should take it one hour before going to bed. If it does not work, he can ask his doctor to give him a medication from the Z class. hey do not induce any significant dependence and they are short lived in the body. They are also fast acting and he can take them just before going to bed. I wish him a good health.
