Hello,
The inability to get or maintain an erection firm enough for sex is very common in men who have diabetes and is termed as erectile dysfunction ( ED ). It can stem from problems caused by poor longterm blood sugar control, which damages nerves and blood vessels. Erectile dysfunction can also be linked to other conditions common in men with diabetes, such as high blood pressure and coronary artery disease.
Treatment for involves general treatment and specific treatments.

General treatment involves
Controlling your diabetes and blood pressure meticulously.
Stop smoking and alcohol.
Reduce your stress level by yoga and meditation.
Regular exercises and reduction of your weight.
Asking your doctor for change of blood pressure medicines,if you are taking some.

If this fails to make you all right, then best would be to consult a urologist and look for Specific treatments like...
Medicines like VIAGRA
Penile implants
Counselling sessions etc.
Thanks
