Ultrasound Shows Polycystic Ovaries , No Free Fluid In Pelvis. Indications?
got my ultra sound today.. REPORT (02/03/2013) SAYS: LMP: 26.2.13 CYCLE DAY: 05 THE UTERUS MEASURES 61*38*33 MM. THE ENDOMETRIUM IS 4.9 MM THICK AND SHOWS EARLY TRIPLE LAYERED MORPHOLOGY. NO ABNORMAL VASCULAR SIGNAL IS SEEN IN IT. THE MYOMETRIUM HAS A NORMAL ECHO PATTERN. THE OVARIES ARE PLOY CYSTIC AND REVEAL MULTIPLE 10-12 CYSTS , 06-08 MM ACROSS IN EACH OVARY . THE STROMA APPEARS TO BE NORMAL. THE RIGHT OVARY MEASURES 22*29*34 MM ACROSS AND 11.37 ML IN VOLUME. THE LEFT OVARY MEASURES 27*17*28 MM ACROSS AND 6.94 ML IN VOLUME. THERE IS NO FREE FLUID IN PELVIS . DATE DAY RIGHT OVARY LEFT OVARY ENDOMETRIUM FREE FLUID IN POD 02/03 05 12 MM MSF 4.9 MM TL ---- OTHERS SMALL
Hello, Thanks for posting your query on health care magic. You are suffering from a condition called polycystic ovarian syndrome. All the findings in your scan suggests polycystic ovary.
