Ultrasound Shows Normal Gall Bladder, Bile Duct, Pancreas, Spleen, Kidneys, Small Ovaries With Cysts, Fibroid Seen. What Does It Mean?

I just had an ultrasound done, the result said There is no organic pathology seen in the gall bladder and the common bile duct is normal. The pancreas and spleen are normal. Both kidneys are with normal size and their cortex medulla relations are conserved. There is no renal pathology visible. 1. the uterus is normal size and position . ET- 4mm. Solitary echo-poor fibroid is seen at the fundus measuring 14mm 2. Both ovaries are marginally small in volume with multi-cystic status.

hi roma, there is a fibroid in your uterus ( a common benign growth/tumor of the uterus). It is very common, if very small and not causing any problems, doesnot need treatment. your gynecologist would be a better judge, so consult her/him. rest of the findings seem normal. i would like to know why was the sonography done in the first place. take care.
