Ultrasound Shows Fetal Pole 9mm, Gestational And Yolk Sac Present But No Heart Beat. Explain?

Hello, I recently had a early pregnancy scan. My lmp was approx 11 nov putying me at 8+. However the sonographer measured the fetal pole at 9mm. She said the gest sac and yolk sac were present too but no hb. I am going back next week. I was told they should expect to see a hb at 9mm. I left feeling deflated. Please can you explain. At 8 weeks pregnancy, cardiac movement should have been present.If its not present within another week then this pregnancy will become a missed abortion.It will have to be terminated.
There is nothing wrong with you.These things happens as a developmental anomaly. You can try again after 3 months.
