Ultrasound Showing Heterogenous Myometrium, Endometrial Lining Thin. Suggested Ablation Or Hysterectomy. Should I Go For It?

I recently had an ultrasound that stated I showed heterogenous myometrium but the endometral lining is thin . It was suggested I see an ob to discus ablation vs hysterectomy . I had not had a period for one year and in the 13th month had a 6 day period so the ultrasound was ordered. I am currently 58 years old. Is it necessary or can I live with this?

Hello

Welcome to HCM forum

You should get an Endometrial biopsy done first along with CT or MRI

Best wishes
