Ultrasound Done, Delayed Menstruation, Few Follicles In Right Ovary. What Does The Result Of Ultrasound Imply?

i just had my ultrasound just this morning as what my doctor said when i had my check up due to menstruation delay almost 4 mos. and base on the result there were few follicles noted in my right ovary 1.2 is the measurement. This is my 2nd experience of my period being delayed but the 1st one was I guess when I m 1st yr college I think or 4th yr in highschool and it was just 2 mos. delayed and the flow of my period was regular again. I am now 21 yrs. old. What does the result of my ultrasound implies? Thank You.

I really appreciate your concern, looking to the history given here your ultrasonography report is showing that no gestational sac I there instead this have detected the development of follicles because you must have done this test during the ovulation time this is some time happens even if you do not have menses is this is nothing to worry but this could be due to hormonal imbalance, hope this information helps you, have a nice day.
