Hello and welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query.
Your symptoms indicate the possibility of a
urinary tract infection (UTI). The symptoms of which are the following:
-Burning sensation during or after urination
-Frequent urination
-Increased urge to urinate but less quantity of urine passed
-Fever
-Chills
-Itching around genitalia
-Lower abdominal and/or flank pain
Please note that not all symptoms need to be present for a clinical diagnosis of UTI. The diagnosis is confirmed with the help of a urine analysis, which provides vital information about a suspected UTI. This should be followed up with a urine culture examination which will confirm the diagnosis and provide information on the most suitable antibiotic that can be used.
Treatment includes antibiotic therapy, pain management medication (if pain is present) and a
potassium chloride based solution which will help relieve your symptoms. Please visit a doctor for an early diagnosis and simultaneously treatment.
In the meantime, you could consume plenty of water and cranberry juice which has shown to have added benefits in assisting with symptom relief.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
