General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Since the typhoid patient is very ill and anorexic, a high energy, high protein, full fluid diet is recommended in the beginning. Small meals are given at frequent intervals of 2 to 3 hours. Sufficient intake of fluids and salts should be ensured. Generally in this condition, sufferer should avoid the whole grain, rice and other solid foods because they give pressure on your digestive system.
Take following...
Fruit juices with glucose
Coconut water
Barley water
Porridge
Rava

High protein is also required so once your diarrhea stops take  following food items...
Milk,
Custards
Fruit milk shake
Thin dhal,
Mashed potato and other soft cooked vegetables
Fruits like banana and oranges.

Foods to be avoided  during Typhoid Fever
No meat,no eggs
Avoid Butter,ghee,chillies,desserts,deep fried foods etc.

You can take lemon juice and glucose water.
You must take bath daily.

Thanks

hello

welcome to health care magic..

sorry to say, don't think other wise,,,,.who diagnosed 2 day fever as a typhoid...it takes at least a week to diagnose it(widal test)..ok better think of a longer duration,,

typhoid fever causes vomitings or diarrhoea, abdominal pain..

i think you are in india,,ciprofloxacin derivative antibiotics donot work in some patients...better to go for cephalosporins...

you are using that only with ofloxin...thats good.
kindly use proton pump inhibitors (like pantop) or antacids to reduce gastric irritation

regarding diet because of too much gastric and intestinal irritation better avoid heavy foods..

try fruit juices, milk, soft fiber diet.. curd rice..

avoid chillies garlic onions because they are too strong and spicy...

you can give lemon juice...

if motions are heavy avoid glucose water,,it may further increase the condition..

you can take regular bath as it is..don't worry too much,

hope you will satisfy my answer

have a speed recovery.

thank you
