Two Year Old Having A Bump On The Head After A Fall. Need To Be Worried?
My two year old hit the middle of forehead which caused a huge goose egg no vomiting or anything she cryed when it happened but was fine right after the area was gooshy soft like, when the swelling went down it seems as if shes left a small dent now should I be concerned? It doesn't seem to bother her though just very concerned.

Hi,
Your little girl post the fall has developed a hematoma on the forehead.This swelling is actually a collection of blood underneath the skin due to rupture of a small blood vessel.You could apply cold compresses on it. Such a bump will resolve in a few days.
However since there was a fall on the head keep a watch on the following in the next 24hr:
Abnormal behavior
Multiple vomits
Convulsions
If the above happen get her examined by her doctor .
