Two Heart Attacks, Lipid Profile Normal. Taking Simvastatin, Amlodopine And Furosemide. Precautions To Live Longer?

My triglycerides are at 91 and my glucose is 105, HDL Cholesterol is 38, LDL Cholesterol is 116, Total Cholesterol is 172. I am a 59 year old male, ^'!'' I weigh 290 at the moment. I've had two heart attacks, I've had open heart, and I'm currently taking Simvastatin, Amlodopine and Furosemide. So far so good, I'd like to live longer then the other men in my family who have all died at 66. Your thoughts sir? I don't smoke or drink. Or, use drugs.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

LDL should be brought down / stepping up simvastatin, or adding fibrate or ezetimibe can help
Reduction of weight is important / BMI should be brought down to lower normal range…
Life style changes like diet and exercise are important
Beta blockers / anti-platelet drugs are part of the drug schedule…
Regular follow up with your doctor is a must

Take care
Wishing all well
God bless
Good luck
