Trying to lose weight, instead gaining weight, headaches, irregular periods, headaches. Treatment?

Hi Doctor, I am 25 year old female from XXXX. my problem is that i trying to shed weight since i was 15, but till this point of time i have not been able to do so.. instead while exercising and maintaining on my diet , my body has given different reactions like i have gained weight, a lot, stress , irregular periods, head aches, low fatigue etc. i am now fed up now, and dont know what to do.. please help..

hi, may be there could be something wrong in your diet due to which you are not losing weight..along with exercise eat small meals every 2-3 hours, avoid milk and wheat as these 2 may cause problems in weight loss in some people..check your vitamin D3, B12, thyroid levels and also get a sonography done for the pelvic to find out if you PCOS or no...have poha/ idli/ oats upma for breakfast, fruits and nuts for mid meals, salads + 1 jowar/ ragi roti + veggies+ dal for lunch, sprouts/ egg whites as evening snacks, dinner should be light without rice/ roti like soups, salads, veggies, chicken/fish.. avoid fried, sweets and aerated drinks completely..drink lot of water.. be happy and positive.. stress will only cause more weight gain..

Why you want to loose weight at the age of 15.
!5 -25 is a growing age.
This is a growing age where your body needs maximum vitamins,minerals calcium for hormonal secreation metabolism etc.
This is a reason you have stress irregular periods headache etc.
Just leave all measure.
Take healthy vitamin rich diet.
Avoid using junk foods.
Take multi vitamin tablet for at least 7-8 months.
If you want to loose weight cut your calorie requirement by avoiding sugar in diet.
