Trying to get pregnant. Irregular periods. Using susten 200. Started stomach and back pain. Is it normal?

Hi, I am married female trying to get pregnant from 1.5 yrs. We consulted a doctor and she suggested to use susten 200 from my 16th day of menstruation as my periods are irregular. I am using the medicine and now i have stomach pain and back pain . is it normal with this medication? and will this tabs force my menstruation?

Thanks for posting your query. I am happy to address your questions. Susten is progesterone tablet. Its responsible for getting periods on time. So I assume your doctor wants to induce it which is why she is asking you to take it orally. Once you stop it you will get your periods within a week.
Susten can also be used in case you need it for providing additional progesterone to help sustain pregnancy after cycles.
