Trying To Conceive. Burning Urination, Spotting. Reason?

Hi... I am a 26 years old female... Me and my husband are planning for a baby... For the same we had sex during my ovalution period.... However post that period of regular sex, I am experiencing slight tickle/ burn during urination, ...And once I also experienced spotting out of my mensuration cycle... What can be the possible reasons behind the same? Can I keep my hopes up?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

The burning on urination may be related to a urinary tract infection.
This may also cause some of the following symptoms:discomfort in the abdomen, passing urine frequently, urgency to urinate, fever, blood in the urine, change in the odor or appearance of the urine.

It would be best to visit your doctor who would likely test your urine in the office as well as send a sample to the lab.
Antibiotics may be suggested if the infection is confirmed.

You may want to wait to the infection is cleared before proceeding with your plans for conception.
It would not affect your ability to conceive but you do not wish to expose a fetus to medication.

Once the infection is cleared then you and your husband can continue with your plans.

I hope this helps
