Trouble Breathing, Intolerance To Heat, Memory Problems, Loss Of Concentration, Muscle Weakness. What Does This Mean?

I am 31 yrs old, 6 1 , 245lbs, I had bloodwork done and the results that were above normal were the ALT - 79 and the GGTP 156. I have the following symptoms: Trouble breathing, Intolerance to heat, shaking hands, memory problems, loss of concentration, muscle weakness , joint pain in wrist and knees, gaining weight 10 lbs in last few weeks, hair loss , vision worsening (hard to read up close, never had that problem). I consume about 2000 - 2500 calories a day. I do not drink alcohol at all, I smoke about 3-7 cigarettes a day. What does this mean?

It may be a early sign of WERNICKE ENCEPHALOPATHY. classical symptopms are-
1.confusion, and impairment of short-term memory
2. visual disturbances and
3. nystagmus (abnormal movement of eye resulting difficulty in reading)
As you have all the three problems I suspect this. Though alcoholics are more prone to develop this it may be due to any disease that cause THIAMIN( a vitamin) deficiency.
Thiamin is required in several part of brain so in deficiency those parts start to stop functioning normally which produce the symptoms.
Thiamin supplement from outside is the main stay of treatment.
Go to a neurologist as early as possible because if left untreated this may be turned into KORSAKOFF PSYCHOSIS .(where those parts damage permanently). Best of luck.
