I am 34 years old. This time when I missed my my period I was in doubt of my pregnancy . My doctor suggested me cycle reg 5 mg to check for any hormonal imbalance. There was no result after 10 days and this time again when I consulted my doctor she confirmed pregnancy of 4.6 weeks . Now I wanted to go ahead with pregnancy. Please suggest me what could be possible impact of the above medication if continue with my pregnancy (Pre delivery and post delivery)
Hello, In general cycloreg doesn't result in any harmful effect before confirmation of pregnancy or less than 5 weeks of pregnancy. Organ formation starts from 5 to 6 weeks and from then onwards,if such type of medicines are taken, then they give some effect on the offspring and specially if it is a male. In case of girl ,it doesn't have any effect. Since it is only 4 weeks, there is nothing to worry and proceed ahead with your pregnancy. However discuss about this with your treating doctor. Thanks
