Tried Mupirocin For Pimple On The Face. Need A Permanent Cure

Hi Doctor, I have pimple on my face. Last about a month ago, a doctor give a prescription to use muporicin - T Bac, but the pimple isn't go and become more. then, I went to another doctor and she give me benzoyl peroxide cream which makes my face feel like got burn after applying it on the pimple spot, and the skin face become red(pink colour). again now, i just visit another doctor and he gave me acnay gel, which i dont know it'll work or not onto my pimple. I didn't do any diet and have enough rest, and always clean my face after did make up thing. i'm using himalaya face wash. can you please help me to get rid of these pimple, and what is causes pimple?. Thanks a lot.

Dear madam,

Looking into your problem i would like to know your age as acne has different reasons at different ages. Acne is most commonly due to hormonal changes in individuals and sometimes due to use of medications like steroids .Benzoyl peroxide is a known treatment for acne but it has to be applied only on pimple area plus you should avoid direct sunlight after that so it is advisable to use it at night.
You should avoid fried and spicy foods , adopt a healthy lifestyle and regular exercise.I advise you to visit a dermatologist and also get your hormone levels checked consider retinoic acid , azelaic acid as advised by your doctor.
Acnay gel i suppose contains clindamycin which can be used in acne but since it hasnt shown improvement with mupirocin it is less likely to respond but it varis from person to person.
