Treatment For Several Swollen Under Skin Pimples On Chin.

I have been getting several under skin pimples on my chin that don't come to a head. I got a pea sized one a week ago which is about 1/2 inch below and to the right of my mouth. After several days, I noticed the area around it was starting to get swollen. Over the past week, the area of swelling has become bigger and is spreading to my lower cheek. The area of swelling is approximately the size of the bottom of a 16 oz plastic bottle of water. It feels slightly warm to the touch and appears to be slightly red. It isn't painful and I don't have any related teeth pain. I don't have insurance so was wondering if there was anything I could do at home. I've tried ice and hot compresses but the swelling isn't going down.

Hi,

I can understand your concern for the pimples a in yourself. Acne or pimples are youth related problem and is not a disease per say. I can understand your concern of acne or pimples. You have not mentioned your age, sex and marital status.

You can apply a cream contains Clindamycin gel 1% and adapalene for topical application form. For clindamycin there is no harm in using it but adapalene can cause irritation if not used under dermatological supervision. It contains topical antibiotic gel and oral antibiotic and do not cause any side effects.

Take a proper guidance and follow up with a good dermatologist so that all the problem of acne can be dealt best for future time.

Take care
