Treatment For Pus Filled Bruise And Lump

my five year old son had a dark bruise with a lump under it and although i was worried i didn't take him to the dr. but after a month the bruise started looking more like a sore like something under the bruise was trying to work itself out. took him to dr and she referred him to a surgeon thinking it was a possible cyst but today the bruise/sore opened up and was seeping a thick yellow pus so she put him on an antibiotic and wants to see him in morning

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. He has some infected cyst or abscess formation. He should go for incision and drainage of that abscess followed by a course of antibiotics.
Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
