Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi...I'm 27, 5'4'' and 160 lbs. and have been having chest pain and shortness of breath for almost a year now. I've been to various doctors and have had 2 x-rays and a cat scan done. All they've found is a hiatal hernia. However, now I'm also starting to wheeze and cough. I also was a smoker for 4 years but quit 3 months ago. Should I go back and get more tests? I'm really scared of lung cancer.
HI Well come HCM Thank for asking I real appreciated your concern, if this is the hiatal hernia then nothing much can be done but care need to be taken for diet alone, try to avoid the spicy food, heavy food, second it is not the cancer and no need to go for any further test hope this information helps.
