Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Dear user
Since you are 76 years old elderly individual, glaucoma needs to be considered as some variants are known to occur in elderly people. But i advice you to go for few tests like measurment of intraocular pressure, optic disc evaluation and if suspicion after the initial examination some investigations like visual fields, retinal nerve fibre layer analyisis. After all these tests and investigations diagnosis and prognosis of the disease can be made. I recommend you to consult glaucoma specialist or ophthalmologist for further evaluation
thank you
