Treating Child With Kerion. Now My Eyelid Is Itchy, Has Blisters, Burns. Blisters With Fluid. Ringworm Or Fever Blisters?

I have been treating my 4yr old son with kerion on his head. Now I have a spot above my eyelid below my eyebrow in the upper corner of my right eye. It is itchy, has blisters and burns.
The blisters are clear with clear fluid.
I was wondering if it could be ringworm or fever blisters? I do get canker sores and fever blisters mainly around mouth and in my nose.

Hi and thank you so much fo rthis query.

I am so sorry to hear about what your son has and the recent blisterd around your eyelids,

From the description of symptoms, it is less likely to be a fungal infection. Fungal infections rarely if at all cause blisters. these may only develop if repeated scratching causes injury to the skin. Otherwise fungal infections are often dry and scaly. It is less like to be a fever sore either because no fever sore develops on eyelids. it mostly occurs around the mouth.

This may represent an allergic reaction to a product i cannot tell. Because it is very close to the eye and it is on the face where esthetics is of great importance, I would suggest that you get this checked out by your doctor and treated appropriately to avoid any complications.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you for using our services and feel free to ask for clarifications.
