Treated H Pylori With Antibiotics. Rib Pain After Muscle Pull. On Antiviral For Shingles. How Long Will It Last?
I had h pylori in January treated with 10 days of antibiotic two weeks after treatment thought I pulled a muscle from painting it went from the right rib around to my back had the pain for one week and shingles came out was put on antiviral meds for ten days it has been eight weeks and the rib pain comes and goes with overuse of my right arm how long can the shingle pain last
Hello, Thank you for the query. In my opinion the after treatment for shingles many will develop nerve pains due to shingles and is known as post therapeutic neuralgia. If the pain continues after 4months then we call that as PHN and dont worry as we can treat it.As it is only 8 weeks has been passed since you got shingles I suggest you to your doctor so that he will prescribe you the drugs which will treat the pain.Hope this information will be helpful.Thank you.
