Treated For Breast Cancer. Had Mastectomy Done. Have Pain In Legs And Swollen Tummy. Edema?

3 years ago i was Treated for Breast Cancer had a Mastectomy and 18 Lymph nodes removed. About 4 Months ago i started getting really bad pain in my Legs and my tummy is also very swollen. My Doctor said it was Athlete Leg. All the things my Doctor said to do did not work and the pain got worse.I knows that when i pushed on my lower leg that there was a indent and stayed for about 15 seconds.I seen a different doctor and he says is Edema and that why the Pain.I do have Lymphedema in my Arm and Chest .Question can the Lymphsystem be the Problem ? and why is there no help for this problem other than spending a ton off Money on Massage therapy ?

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Please don't waste any money over massage as until & unless cause of disease will not treated ,this edema will bother you.
Type of edema is pitting type.
May be due to secondaries of breast cancer .
As lymph nodes draining in leg compartment may blocked .
So if possible , upload the type of cancer ( breast ) report as nature of cancer play an important role in its prognosis.
Consult operating surgeon ( breast cancer 3 yrs back) and get his opinion.
Hope I have answered your question.
If further any question I will help.
Good luck.
