Toxoplasma present in blood during pregnancy. Treatable?

helo doctor , i m priya and my lmp s 31dec 2012 ,and now i m in the stage 3month of pregnancy but this is my 2nd pregnancy but there s some problm and that s in my blood . i m o positive but the toxo plasma s present in my blood so i m worried 4 my pregnancy...tell me how can i cure from it..... i onsult my gynyc doct she gives me some medicines and that r lycostar,dubagest 200,vomilast,peptard-d and rovamycin forte ...

Thanks for the query.

Toxoplasma infection during pregnancy is known to cause birth defects, IUGR and preterm delivery.
You are taking proper drugs.
I also recommend you to get a antibody test done.
Ig M antibody suggests infection.
However presence of IG-G antibody suggests immunity. Then you need not worry.
