Took primolut tablet to delay period. Had unprotected sex, took unwanted 72. Did I get pregnant?

hello doctor! last month on 22-jan-2013 i got my last perios n i took 2 primolut n tablet on 17th-feb-2013 evening and on 18th feb 2013 morning to delay my period after that i had unprotected sex and next day on 19th feb i had unwanted 72. did i get pregnant? and if not then when i will supposed to get my period. please help am really getting worried. i ll be thankful.

First of all, you did unprotected sex in safe period, just prior to commence of due period though you took pill for delaying it.

Second thing, you took unwanted 72 as additional protection within first 24 hrs. It gives more than 95% protection against unwanted pregnancy.

In this case, your chance of being pregnant is almost nil. A withdrawal bleeding may occur within 7-10 days and may coincide with your due period. Next cycle may be earlier or delayed due to hormonal imbalance.

Avoid stress, take healthy diet with iron & vitamin supplements, maintain genital hygiene and take sound sleep. Practice safe sex in future.
