Took Medication For PTB. Scars In Lungs. Anything To Be Worried?

hi im aileen i have minimal ptb last 2006 but it was medicated for 6 months...then in our annual medical in our company...i have clear lungs and i was happy but after 1 year i have scars...i ask my doctor she says it only scars,and non active,,,but i was always failed in applying abroad coz my lungs not clear coz of scars what can i do?..to convince that im already in gud health...

Hi there ~

I understand your concern. It might be well worth the effort to get your sputum check done three times in the traditional way to find our if you have any active microbe infection. If there is then you will get the answers right away and this is a gold standard in determining if you are just a carrier or have active infection. This would also let you make the flight abroad, despite having minimal PTB. I hope this helps.
