Took Enfamil Gentlease Infant Formula. Switched To AR Formula As She Was Spitting. Has Not Pooped

I have a 6 week old baby girl she was on the Enfamil gentlease infant formula and she was spiting up a lot so switched her to the AR formula with the rice mixer already in it but she hasn't pooped today and I'm worried she is constipated because she keeps crying I tried the karo syrup like my doctor suggested but doesn't seem to be working I have heard you can use sugar water but not sure and need something safe but effected can you help me please

Constipation is a common phenomenon seen in children that are constipated, especially on formula. this could arise because of the constitution of the exact formula used not very suited for the child, or an error in the preparation of such formulas. The amount of water required needs to be carefully respected. I suggest you seek the opinion of your pediatrician for counsel on formula preparation. Kind regards
